Mindfulness Meditation

Lately I’ve moved away from using guided meditations in the morning, and have just been using a timer. This feels right for me just now, and though I sometimes spend most of a meditation reminding myself not to think, I also have really good stretches, where I feel very in tune with myself.

But for today’s extra meditation I went back to YouTube, and found this meditation. It’s long, but it was a good one; and it reminded me of just how much time I spend ruminating on things that are, by any objective standpoint, pointless to think about. I use up countless hours of my life working on problems that I don’t actually need to solve, or that don’t actually even exist! Today I’m working on doing less of that.
