Gratitude Journal

Positive Psychology Program has a long page on keeping a gratitude journal, and about a third of the way down there’s a list of ideas to get you started. The one that caught my eye was this one:

  • What is there about a challenge you’re experiencing right now that you can be thankful for? (This is a tough one, but you have learned something or grown from the hardship—how?).

That is a tough one, which I suppose is why it intrigues me. I am not certain even which challenge to choose, but I intend to mull this over today and see if I can’t come up with an answer.
